About the workshop

This is the working blog about our workshop and will act as the repository of all links, spaces, tools and stuff....

Context:
Too many resources, software, apps - too little time…

Questions:
How do we balance information overload with being a connected networked innovative teacher? How do we share resources effectively without focusing on the resource but the tacit knowledge?  How do we choose tools that will help us cope from the myriad of choices out there?

ICT (which incorporates mobile technologies) can either help you cope or add to your frustrations. During this workshop session you will unpack an ICT toolbox looking at various new (and some old but good) tools, apps and strategies to help you:
  • (Create) and manage your online identity.
  • Create a personal digital library that will help you stay on top of the latest resources, tools and 21st century learning practices.
  • Create or join a learning community that will give you access to personalised learning and sharing.
  • Use content curation to filter learning for yourself and your learning network.
  • Collaborate using  various tools and platforms.
